Acting Career
Iresh Zaker came into acting by way of the studio, first as a voice artist, then through an unexpected television role that set him on a path he chose to earn through discipline and results. He later moved from television to film with “Chorabali” in 2012, and won the Bangladesh National Film Award in 2015 for Best Performance in a Negative Role for “Chuye Dile Mon.” Recent screen work spans “Osomoy,” “Ekattor,” and “Contract,” with a steady presence that favors story over noise.
Media and Hosting
His on-air life began behind the microphone, voicing programs and honing timing and tone before audiences knew his face. Over the years he has been widely featured across major outlets, including a Dhaka Tribune Showtime cover story and multiple interviews with The Daily Star. Viewers also know him from conversations and specials such as The Business Standard feature, “Uncensored with Rafi Hossain” at The Daily Star, Somoy TV spotlights, Channel i’s “Celebrity Adda,” and other talk formats that invite him to reflect on craft and culture.
Entrepreneurship
Beyond the set, Iresh leads one of the country’s largest creative groups as Managing Director of Asiatic 3Sixty, where business goals meet storytelling discipline. He has also driven original content production through Good Company, the Asiatic content wing credited with Bangladesh’s first films and series for ZEE5 Global. His peers twice trusted him with industry leadership, first as General Secretary and then as President of the Television and Digital Programme Producers Association, reflecting his stake in the ecosystem’s growth. What ties it all together is a clear intent to lift local entertainment and build teams that can carry stories further.
